The Move to Portland

It hasn't officially been declared, well maybe it has on an Instagram post, which nowadays might as well be considered an "official place" to be informed. Just wanted to let you all know we have officially relocated the basecamp of Camp Mug Supply Co to Portland, Oregon. 

A much lesser know aspect of this brand is that it is still entirely a passion project, a side-hustle, moonlighting, whatever other phrase or shenanigan words explain that something is a job on the side. As much as I'd like to say the brand moved to Portland for the people (and we did) and the location (which was a huge factor), my other job outside hand-painting mugs, sent me a couple thousand miles away from the Coast I've known for a long time. Like many people, the West Coast has always had an alluring draw to it and after being eager to move here for years, things just finally fell into place. 

The vibe fits us pretty much to a "T", as many people expressed it would. This brand is a relational one and from the friendly faces we've already met and connected with here to the love for nature and wild places, hard to know exactly but seems like a perfect fit. 

There are lots of little projects behind the scenes, people I've started connecting with, and relationships that are being built. All of those things are super important to continuing to see where things head for Camp Mug Supply. At the end of the day, the greatest enjoyment so far over the last 7 or 8 months has honestly come from people getting stoked on a mug and sharing whatever adventure it tags along for. All we can hope for is more people backing the mission of inspiring adventure and sharing those moments with others! It's all we're aiming for at the end of the day. We can't wait to see where the adventures in the Pacific Northwest lead us next.
